Breaking free from the ‘inner battle’.

Do you ever feel that your body is working against you?

Wonder why it keeps ‘letting you down’?

You feel so tired and exhausted that you cannot think straight, and your emotions…don’t go there – talk about rollercoaster!

Perhaps you can’t ever switch off, with internal noise constant day and night keeping you on your toes?

And as for relaxing – you don’t have a clue how to! And anyway, isn’t that just being lazy?

Or are you trying to make changes in your life, you work so hard yet feel you go round and round in circles?

The overriding thought being ‘what’s wrong with me, if only I could be fixed’….

If any of these resonate in any way with you, read on….

What if I were to tell you that your energies are not trying to be difficult; they are simply communicating with you, sometimes quite loudly. How does that sit?

When you feel you are in a constant battle, it’s probably a stretch too far to believe that your energies are not actually working against you.

The big issue is – no matter how this sits with you – is that we do not know how to listen and work with our energies, because the simple fact is we are never taught how to.

Learning how ‘to be’ – gaining resilience.

When you feel you are in a constant battle, it’s easy to believe that your energies are working against you. But the truth is, we often struggle to listen and understand them because, quite simply, no one teaches us how to.

So let’s go back to basics – and the basic foundation of resilience. When you are battling fatigue, overwhelm or illness your resilience can be weakened; it is important to state here that resilience isn’t about pushing through or fighting against yourself. Instead it’s about stopping, listening, feeling, and releasing any fear so that your energies can be processed and flow – creating harmony within you.

The key to turning this around lies in learning how to be — to tune in to your own energies with awareness, self-love, and compassion – giving your internal energies permission to flow again. This is true resilience.

Often, the fear of feeling emotions; the thought ‘what is wrong with me?’ and other such thoughts hold us back from tapping into our full potential, leading us to act out of self-doubt or anxiety. But true resilience comes when we learn to sit with our feelings, acknowledge our energies, and release the fear that clouds our perception.

To build resilience, we must first begin with awareness: understanding the subtle ways our energies shift in response to external challenges. By feeling into our own bodies and emotions, we can create space to release the weight of fear that keeps us stuck. It’s in this space of clarity and self-trust that we unlock the strength to move forward, no matter the obstacles.

When we stop fearing what we feel and start accepting ourselves as we are, we unlock the power to face life’s challenges with grounded strength.
